A couple days ago we had the official formation and lineup thread. Since then, I genuinely believe I see 3-5 threads a day regarding the #10 position being beaten into the ground continuously, and it's frankly repetitive.

There are two schools of thought, Rooney is past it, holds this team back, and is a detriment to the attack and team. Then there is the school of thought that Rooney still has a lot to offer, can still contribute in a goal scoring sense, and is an overall benefit to the team.

While I understand it's important for people to get their opinions out, and how they are contributing to discussion, for the most part it's a lot of people saying the same things.

I ask we bring back the official thread till the season starts, that's all.
