I swear, the community around this game is going absurdly crazy. This indie game made by 13 people that simulates a UNIVERSE has some day-one server issues that stop two people from seeing each other, and suddenly people are calling Sean Murray a horrible liar. I understand there is a lot of fan built hype for the game (I'm excited to play it when it comes to PC), but seriously, allow the tiny team to fix the bugs and server issues before claiming the game is "missing features it promised" and grabbing your pitchforks.

The problem isn't that the feature isn't online. It's the cryptic messaging not explicitly confirming or denying it. Given the incentive to confirm that that sort of functionality is in the game, it is reasonable to ask why they haven't confirmed it yet.

I agree with the standard thing. That's why I typically only preorder expansions/DLC for games I've already played, know I like, and know I'll want all extra content for (Destiny expansions, Hyrule Warriors season passes, etc).

I remember waiting in line for midnight releases, only to get home and find that servers had crashed because of the influx of people, rendering multiplayer unplayable. They always say, "we didn't think so many people would get online." Have some faith in your game you shits, and prepare for as much as you possibly can
