as a sidenote - any update on Lingard's foot injury?

Jesse's earned his spot. I think Rooney should be far more worried about Micky than Lingard.

Though watch Jesse make an amazing run to get a 1v1 out of nothing, fluff the shot and get 200 comments flooding the match thread about how he's actually mediocre.

Exactly. Give Rooney a rest and play Mkhi in the hole. But i doubt that will happen.

I would have said mkhitaryan but after lingard started the community shield I think that signals he will start

After the game Mou said the injury wasn't serious. I Would like Miki to start but after that goal i think he will go with lingard.
