Literally showering when I realized that Trump is slowly but surely conceding the race.

Clearly the man is proud. Like, disturbingly narcissistic proud. And lord knows he doesn't want a national curb stomping in an election, to a woman.

This man underwent this entire process on the premise of winning, and due to prior miss steps, that ship has pretty much sailed long ago.

So now what. How does a narcissist concede a race without looking like a coward in the eyes of millions of his followers?

That's simple.

Say vile shit that ensures your defeat, but still earns brownie points with your core demographic.

So when he invariably loses, he can say he tried. He can say that it was rigged, that the system is so bad, etc. etc. and go back to spray tanning and bad real estate. All while keeping his popularity amid his followers afloat and not having to lose on a nationally televised stage to a woman, or concede to defeat to her - both which would result in the collapse of his popularity and move him back to relative obscurity.
