After months of transfer speculation saga revolving around Paul Pogba, it is now confirmed that the French talisman is officially a Manchester United player, making him the most expensive transfer in football history so far.

Manchester United had announced on Sunday minutes before their Community Shield game kickoff that Juventus have authorized him for a medical at United. It was yesterday that the Red Devils had announced the arrival of the French play-maker after he successfully completed his medical.

Man United fans all around the world wildly celebrated this news with cheers and new chants shortly after their club lifted the Community shield trophy at Wembley stadium after winning over the defending English champions Leicester City. While there was a lot of discussion among the fans on what number would Pogba don for the Red Devils upon his arrival or ‘REUNITED‘ with his boyhood club as the United fans would say; the club’s official website had revealed earlier today that their latest signing will be wearing the number 6.

All of Pogba’s fellow teammates at United gave him a warm welcome and were overjoyed by him re-joining the side. Questions were raised if Pogba was really worth the money spent and United boss Jose Mourinho had strongly responded by claiming he wouldn’t have been given this chance by any other team in the world. Many pundits and critics even said the Premier League title is for Manchester United to win now.
