1. Donate to Hillary Clinton's campaign. The more money a campaign has, the more ads it can run, the more states it can compete in, and the more people it can reach. Trump has put several traditionally Republican states in the playing field but Hillary's campaign won't be able to do much if they don't have the money to set up operations there. 2. If you are a Republican or a conservative-minded individual who just can't bring yourself to donate to Hillary Clinton, by all means, donate to Gary Johnson. While he may siphon some votes away from Clinton, he provides a good alternative to conservatives who are leaning towards Trump but don't want to abandon their principles. The net effect, particularly in red states, will hurt Trump more than it helps him. Donate here.

3. Contact your Congressional Representative and Senators if they are on record as supporting Trump or silent on the issue. Let them know that if they do not publicly repudiate him, they will never get your vote again and you will be ready to support any and all challengers to their campaign. Calling their D.C. office works best, since most people don't take the time to do that, a large number of calls shows how important the issue is. But don't hesitate to call their local office as well and e-mail them. Find your Congressman here.

4. Register people to vote. Maybe you can do this through one of the campaigns, if not, then find people you know who aren't registered and get them to register. Commit to finding 3-5 friends, family, or acquaintances to register and actually show up to vote.

5. Volunteer for a campaign. A lot of us have lives outside of reddit, so we might not be able to do this. But if you can, take the plunge. It's a great way to have an effect in your local area. Volunteer for Hillary here. Volunteer for Johnson here.

We cannot be complacent here. If too many people think Trump can't possibly win, they might not vote. If this election is anything other than a landslide, Trump's going to claim fraud. This needs to be a repeat of '64. He needs to be beaten so utterly and totally that his pasty orange ass won't ever dare to crawl out from under his bed to send a tweet ever again. So, I don't care if you're in the reddest state in the country, everyone needs to get out and work to make sure that Trump can't get away with the things he's said and done. We're better than that and we need to show the world on November 8th.
