We said he dithered on Pedro and lost him. He got us Martial, and now Jose identified 4 targets and we achieved all 4.

Hi criticisms were stupid anyway. Moyes was indecisive and not a draw to players. LvG he got in the big names when needed and turned deals round quickly. Mourinho he has done the same (Pogba was slow, but understandable for a record fee).

No longer will we get vague comments of "doesn't have a football brain" etc.

I think it says more about how important it is to have a decisive manager who knows his targets well in advance. It probably also helps having someone of Mourinho's calibre who is much more of a draw for elite players than Moyes or an ageing LVG ever were.

I am sick of this circle jerk you are creating. Calling Ed a football dunce or a commercial genius is quite true. Don't forget we had Jose Mourinho as our manager which probably got us at very least 2 of our four signings.

Second to that we have had the services of Riaola, I don't like agents fuck them but in this case he has lined his pockets and got us 3 players. Woodward also paid a shit ton of money on the four signings as well it was not as if it was his crafty negotiations.

It is the same every year we have Ed, he signs a player or two and everyone here loves him. Then if we aren't doing well it becomes "Ed is an idiot who is too scared and clueless to sack LVG" or other bullshit statements about our poor youth system etc etc.

You can't just call Ed a genius when we get a nice new signing but call him a fraud when in January he signs a Bulgarian Soup official partnership or something.
