Alright, so I am a huge fan of Seth Rogen, and find it hard to find a movie where he isn't just absolutely amazing. Maybe I went into this with rose colored eyes (pun intended) but I was severely disappointed. Now, to start I smoked a lot, I would say I was 7/10 for this one. I put on the movie and here we go! It starts off crude and lacking actual punch lines. The jokes are lackluster at best and I find myself zoning out, not really paying attention. If you have ever seen deadpool, and are anything like me, you will have noticed the movie was crude for the sake of being crude, it grabs attention and connects with a certain crowd. This is how I viewed Zach and Miri.
The humor was dry and distasteful most of the time, honestly causing me to not even care about the movie. They go on long spiels about everything and the end of the line is never what you would expect, I will give it that much. It was funny in the sense of "Wow, that was not at all where I thought that would go" and you will get a few chuckles out of it
As far as Seth Rogen is concerned, I thought of him in this movie as being completely uneventful and not his usual self. About 30 minutes into the movie I realized the three possible outcomes here:
1. I am getting to old for Seth Rogens humor
2. Seth Rogens performance was shotty at best
3. Seth Rogen isnt funny
Now this is very disappointing for me. I think honestly it was number 2 for this movie, as I love him in most of his works. I did not even complete the movie. I turned it off about 20 minutes before it was over. I have previously seen this movie sober when it first came out and I remember it being hilarious, but I just cant find it in me to like it while high. If you are looking for dry, crude and sometimes just stupid humor that isnt that funny, watch this movie. If you are a huge seth rogen fan, I would stay away for now. Thats all for now folks

Welcome to my Kickstarter page, we are going to dive into a little about this project momentarily, but first a little about myself!
I am a 24 year old, currently living in Idaho. I am attending college currently, and work a full time job as well to support myself and my lovely Fiance (and our cat, FeliciaTheCat)
I moved here several years ago for school and to reconnect with my brother, who has since moved away for medical school.
Recently, along side my schooling, writing and work (obviously personal time in there as well) I have been looking for a side project as a realistic and fun hobby to do.
One of my favorite things to do is watch movies, from old time movies, cheesy B rated movies, and everything in between. In fact, I feel there are hundreds of thousands of movie buffs out there that can't get enough!
There are of course movie review websites out there that have gained popularity over the years for their tough, sometimes even cynical reviews of movies, TV shows and actors, and these websites gain a lot of traffic because of the benefits of reading these reviews.
Now, if you are anything like me you view those websites occasionally to check out a good flick before renting, buying or even setting up a group movie night (maybe even a date night?)
The problem with those websites happen to be the primary function of them. They review movies, but they are professional critiques who's income and life depend on that paycheck. Their reviews (although very well done and generally semi accurate) do not realistically portray the movie.
Their reviews are hard to read, not for the every day movie goer, and don't connect with the audience.
That's where we come in! Our idea, our passion, our dedication for movies is what drives us. We want to create an honest website that shows accurately what the movie is about, which actors we liked and disliked, if it is good for a large group (meaning possible interruptions and tons of rewinding) or better for a few people after the rest leave.
We want you to know if a group of 10 people would love to watch, say the Minority Report. I would not recommend it, but I would recommend a large group of people to watch The Interview or Pineapple Express.
Now here is our twist! Our primary audience are people who love to (legally) smoke Marijuana. Our website is going to allow those who enjoy toking it up to see an honest review of a movie, (while the reviewer was experiencing the same toke as you will be), adding in other aspects, like how many people watch it with them, what the over all experience was, if it was hard to follow, or maybe had a lot of dry humor. Not quite convinced? What if we told you we are also adding to each and every review the amount and kind of green that was used during each movie?
Finally, you can have an honest review of a movie for the best time to watch it! Even with recommendations of what to toke and smoke.
Your contribution to our company project will be used for website design, network security, hiring employees, obtaining proper permits and business license, and much more. The funding amount is set to $1000, as this is the bare amount we would need (along side our own monetary contributions, hours spent working for free and such) but any additional dollar over the minimum amount will go strictly towards the company, website and design.
Let us share a few of the many awesome features we are adding to our website:
1. Get honest reviews from people who are high. This allows an amazing perspective about the movie, such as if it is funny, sad, hard to follow, requires pausing, and so on. Not some stuck up review from a guy who doesn't relate to you.
2. Personalized detail about the movie environment. We all love moves, and the atmosphere of the movie can certainly have an impact on the viewer, but did you know that it also works the other way around? How much would you really enjoy a movie if you had to keep pausing it every few minutes because your friend is asking a question, needs another drink, and so on? You lose a lot of the detail and experience. With our reviewing system, you can pick the best movie for the best experience possible.
3. Want to know more about the reviewer was smoking? Sure, we all love Indica and Sativa, but maybe you want to know the best kind, best strain even, to enjoy while watching the movie. Our reviewers will be posting what strain they were enjoying during the movie. You can browse through the reviews, find more about the movie, and even about the strain so you can decide the experience you will receive while watching it.
4. We allow all users to review a movie. This will be heavily moderated to make sure that the reviews are highly detailed and provide the best experience to the viewer. We also have staff/editorial reviews for each movie to make sure that you always have a review to look at prior to pressing play!
5. We are currently working on providing a streaming service for movies as well. No longer do you have to wonder what to watch or find a great review and not be able to enjoy the flick right then. With our streaming service, you can read the review and watch the view without even getting up.
6. Community forums to discuss anything and everything related to movies, marijuana and more!
7. Video review feedback. Our staff with have video feedback every 30 or so minutes into the movie. They will sit down, record a video and once the movie is over, add the video feedback to the website. This will allow you to connect and relate to our staff on a personal level as you watch them toke it, smoke it, laugh and cry, see the fear in their eyes and so much more! It brings a whole new experience to our review system.
8. So much more! We are constantly taking feedback and looking for new features to add

Every project has its potential obstacles to overcome, and this one is probably one of the more challenging ones. We are basing a website around the use of Marijuana for movies, and thus we will obviously be experiencing issues with funding, as well as hiring and implementing the website.
