Obviously the elephant in the room is Pogba, but my question is, is he really our last signing or is that just what Mou said publicly so any other clubs wouldn't think we're desperate?

I think another CB would be useful and would allow us to sell one of Rojo or Jones. Don't really think we should keep both. Fabinho would also be good and give us 2 solid fullbacks on each side. Him, Valencia, Shaw and Darmian.

It looks like Adnan's gone this year, probably on loan. Miki and Lingard will be our options on the right and Martial and Memphis on the left, and Rashford can play on the wing if need be.

I definitely think one of Rooney, Mata or Pereira will leave by the end of the season. Not now, but maybe even by January. With rumblings of Pereira being unhappy even last year I can't see him staying much longer without really being a part of the first team. Could see us loaning him out, with Rooney leaving at the end of the year and Pereira coming back to being a starter or at least a close second choice to Mata. I really hope Mata starts over Rooney but that's a discussion for a different thread.

Finally, I think we could use another midfielder. Mou always likes to have a hardworking ballwinner, and I think that will be Schneiderlin in our current squad. But who else can fill that role? Blind and Carrick both have the passing range to play in the midfield but not the legs for that type of role. Carrick is also too old to be relied on to start and imo should be an option only to see out/maintain control of games near the end and provide leadership. Herrera is probably gonna be second choice to Pogba as they are similar 'forward thinking' but still hardworking box to box CMs. That leaves us with only TFM to provide backup to Schneiderlin and I'm not sure he's ready
