Apparently the deal was going to be announced at 9pm tonight but the slight delay has been over Pogba’s blood samples being analysed and returned from a Manchester hospital, and agreeing the finer details of his contract.

SWANS CONFIRM MOVE

Swansea have just announced the departure of Ayew, saying he has signed for West Ham for £20.5m.

A statement reads: "Everyone at Swansea City would like to thank Andre for his service to the club, and wish him well for the future."

WEST HAM SIGN AYEW

West Ham co-chairman David Gold has confirmed the signing of Andre Ayew from Swansea.

'LUCRATIVE' OFFER FOR LUKAKU?

Everton are reportedly preparing to offer Romelu Lukaku a 'lucrative' new contract in a bid to keep him at the club.

The Liverpool Echo report that Lukaku will meet with his representative Mino Raiola in the coming days to discuss his career plans.

Lukaku still has three years remaining on his present deal but has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park, with former club Chelsea said to be interested.

DE BOER SET FOR INTER

It seems like Frank de Boer will be the man to replace Roberto Mancini as Inter Milan boss.

The 46-year-old left Ajax in May and was linked with Premier League clubs Everton and Southampton before those vacancies were filled by Ronald Koeman and Claude Puel respectively.

However, after Mancini's dismissal earlier today, Inter have just posted a short video on Twitter with De Boer.

Speaking to camera, he says: "Hello Inter fans, I am very happy to be here and I hope to see you soon."

Tom Lees has ended any speculation over his future by extending his contract with Sheffield Wednesday until 2021.

Derby and Burnley have both been linked with the defender but he has committed to the Owls.

Oxford have ended their interest in Motherwell winger Marvin Johnson.

Head coach Michael Appleton told the Oxford Mail: "We made what we thought was a very, very good offer. They think it's short of their valuation, so as far as we're concerned it's dead."

BIRMINGHAM SIGN CHE ADAMS

Birmingham have announced the signing of Che Adams from Sheffield United.

The 20-year-old has joined for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.

The Blades say their "valuation of Che Adams has finally been met" and boss Chris Wilder has told the club website: "It has been difficult, but we have stood our ground in terms of our value of Che and Birmingham have now matched that valuation.

"Che has shown the desire to go and speak to Birmingham and has been keen to make the move happen.

"We've been in control of negotiations, though, we have been throughout, we believe we have got an excellent price and we've covered ourselves going forward if Che realises his potential."

ZABALETA TO STAY AT CITY

From the red half of Manchester to the blue, and Pablo Zabaleta says he is staying at Manchester City after being told he is part of Pep Guardiola's plans for the season.

City's long-serving full-back is inside the final year of his contract and told Sky Sports in April he was considering his future after losing his place to Bacary Sagna.

But he says: "There was a lot of speculation. I don't know how many times I was away to Italy. It was incredible. Every day there was a new club.

"I've always been away from that because I knew from the first day it was my decision [to stay]. I had been told by the new manager that I was part of this squad for this season, so I am more than pleased for this because City was my priority.

"I know I only have one year left on my contract, so that creates a lot of speculation about my future but I didn't decide anything before I came back for pre-season to meet the manager and hear from him what was my situation.

"I am so happy to be part of Manchester City for this season."

O'SULLIVAN RETURNS TO STANLEY

John O'Sullivan has returned for another loan spell at Accrington Stanley, joining on a six-month deal from Blackburn Rovers.

Fulham have announced that Sakari Mattila’s contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

TRANSFER LATEST

Borja Baston - Talks continue between Swansea and Atletico Madrid over Baston. A fee is close to being agreed - it would be a club record £15m. Swansea are hopeful the player will fly to the UK in the next few days to take a medical, but there is still work to do to get it over the line.

Ashley Williams - We understand the interest from Everton in Swansea captain Williams remains strong and there is an expectation they will go back in with an improved offer having had a £10m bid rejected.

Andre Ayew - A fee of £20m has been agreed with West Ham United. We are told the medical is done and personal terms have been agreed. A formal announcement is expected soon.

Saido Berahino - We understand new West Brom chairman John Williams has been meeting his senior staff today to discuss transfer strategy - with Berahino high on the agenda. Stoke's bid of £20m remains on the table, but they will move to other targets if the Berahino situation is not resolved quickly.

TRANSFER LATEST

Away from Pogba, here's a look at some of the other biggest transfer stories in the Premier League.

Samir Nasri - We are being that Manchester City are listening to offers for Nasri. The asking price is believed to be £17m with AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma interested. Nasri was forced to train alone by manager Pep Guardiola after he returned from holiday overweight.

John Stones - City have been made aware of the price tag and it will take £50m pounds to get him from Everton.

Jose Fonte - We understand Everton boss Ronald Koeman is interested in being reunited with Southampton defender Fonte. However, boss Claude Puel expects the player to stay. Fonte is quoted as saying he's happy where he is but would be tempted by a move to what he describes as a world-class club who play in the Champions League.

Christian Benteke - Liverpool will not accept anything less than the £32.5m they paid Aston Villa last summer. We understand Liverpool feel they are in a strong position given Benteke has four years left on his contract and also given the fees other strikers have commanded in this window.

Barcelona have confirmed a deal has been agreed for defender Thomas Vermaelen to join Roma on a season-long loan.

Roma will have the opportunity to buy the Belgium international at the end of the loan.

There’s been a lot of talk about Christian Benteke in this transfer window and last week Jurgen Klopp said he will not be 'a present' for clubs. So what does he mean by that and where does this leave the Belgian striker?

We understand Liverpool will not consider bids lower than around £32.5m. The Belgium international has four years left on contract at Anfield.

The ball is very much in Liverpool’s court with ur sources are telling us that the club feel Benteke will be just as valuable next summer based on his contract length and the fee other experienced strikers have commanded in this window.

Several teams are interested in the player, according to his agent. The latest club to be linked is Besiktas. Reports from Turkey suggest Benteke has agreed terms.

ICYMI: JESE JOINS PSG

Paris St Germain have signed Spanish forward Jese from Real Madrid on a five-year deal, the French champions have announced.

The 23-year-old Jese is PSG's fifth signing during the close season after Hatem Ben Arfa, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Thomas Meunier and Giovani Lo Celso.

Jese, who was signed for an undisclosed fee, scored 13 goals from 62 La Liga games.

PSG, under new coach Unai Emery, who joined from Sevilla, won the Trophy of Champions with a 4-1 win against Olympique Lyonnais last Saturday.

"Like Paris Saint-Germain, I have big ambitions for the coming seasons and it will be a great pleasure to work under the direction of Unai Emery," Jese, who has represented Spain at youth level, told PSG's official website. "I can't wait to begin this next challenge of my career."
