Is SAF and pogbas relationship good? (self.reddevils)

I know when he left SAF was not happy with him and it's not that important anymore. Just wondering if they made up over the years?

I believe SAF granted his wishes on a move away. If it wasn't, I doubt he'd come back to the club.

I don't think so... Pogba just let his contract run out and refused to sign a new one IIRC?

IIRC, Pogba wanted a starting place, and SAF didn't think he was quite ready. Definitely rated the lad highly, but wasn't about to displace the Scholes/Carrick partnership for him.

Pogba just didn't want to wait on SAF. I don't think there was too much bad blood between the two.

I'm not sure, think SAF broke pogba when he wouldn't play him and he felt as if he was holding him back. Everything he's said and other people have said points to him loving the city and the club, but Fergie was too rigid. He wouldn't have come back, no matter how much we were paying him or his agent or Juve, if fergie was in charge, I don't think. He has been respectful to him in interviews since however.

The straw that broke the camels back was the whole return of scholes and Rafael being picked instead of him when there were a lot of injuries. Good to know that it's all blown over.
