A women called up a radio show today to speak to lawyer. She tells the lawyer that her father is 99 years old and he is still paying alimony to his second wife. Her father doesn't work and barely survives on social security. The lawyer gave her bunch of bullshit answers on how to get out of it but nothing concrete because its up to the laws of the land. So he is fucked till he dies. There really needs to be a cut off for alimony. Maybe after 65 or 72 when you retire there should be no alimony. Definitely no life long alimony. Now when I even think about a relationship I will remember this guy 99 years old and still paying alimony. Not for me.

Alimony shouldn't exist at all, why in the hell does marriage benefit the woman EVERY SINGLE way possible but the man doesn't get a goddamned thing? seriously, this is a serious question I'm asking because I don't understand why a man would put himself through something like that and he isn't getting anything in return. I'm a virgin so pussy hasn't warped my frame of thinking I guess.

robin williams was like 72 and paying alimony for 2 marriages, that's why he kept pumping out those shitty movies of his, he needed the money. imo a great part of the reason for his suicide is he realized that there was no end in sight, he had worked himself to the bone and just wanted out, no support system no nothing, the system was rigged against him and he had no way out of paying what he made back when he was a super star.
