A women called up a radio show today to speak to lawyer. She tells the lawyer that her father is 99 years old and he is still paying alimony to his second wife. Her father doesn't work and barely survives on social security. The lawyer gave her bunch of bullshit answers on how to get out of it but nothing concrete because its up to the laws of the land. So he is fucked till he dies. There really needs to be a cut off for alimony. Maybe after 65 or 72 when you retire there should be no alimony. Definitely no life long alimony. Now when I even think about a relationship I will remember this guy 99 years old and still paying alimony. Not for me.
