Here is what I don't get. When I see polls that are concluding that the opponent is winning, it motivates me to make sure that I vote for my candidate for fear of losing. And when I see polls concluding that my candidate is winning, I'm motivated to vote in order to cement that lead. Of course this is anecdotal evidence, but it doesn't seem, to me, that poll statistics change anything, regardless of their slant.

    Am I the only one who doesn't give much for anything online? Most online portals and news I see are bashing Trump, and they have thousands or millions of subscribers as well. I really don't think that's reliable. It is a boost of morale, sure, but most people are rather (a)pathetic and don't waste much thoughts on politics. They just gobble up the news, overhear some colleagues talking (or random people on the street), and on election day, they vote based on current mood, what they always voted or stuff like "oh look, she's a woman". I think a big challenge is to reach those millions of people outside of social media.
