He blamed the slow pitch for Fellaini's back pass. I love how he deflects any blame off his players (and just there said that Mata came off for a reason and there's no problem).

A manager that protects his players like that makes me smile massively, so happy after today.

In the replay you can see the water spraying off the ball. I felt bad for Fella considering the conditions. It looked as if the ball hit a soggy spot on the turf and just died.
