Is the Karpeles Curse plagueing bitcoin? Largest exchange collapses within a short period of Karpeles prison release. (self.Buttcoin)

The Bitcoin price has gone absolutely nowhere in the post Karpeles Mt Gox era.

Despite all the vomit produced by the bitcoin crowd and bible thick list of explanations and outrageous projections; here we are 3 years after the GOX ATH of $1200, with a 50% lower price.

Everyone who stated the price would decline or stagnate was met with immediate ridicule on all bitcoin social venues.

The interesting part is, Mark Karpeles gets out of prison and the largest exchange BitFinex collapses shortly there after.

Not saying the events are related in a material sort of way but more on a superstitious plane.

Thoughts?

Without Karpeles behind the levers will bitcoin ever reach a new dollar high?

Mark had nothing to do with this hack. That is certain; he said so himself on twitter.

You're not thinking like a butter.

Clearly, Mark's release was carefully orchestrated by a government backed operative trading on bitfinex. The operative shorted on all exchanges, got Karpeles out on bail, hacked finex and stole a few handfuls of coins to make it topple, specifically to make Mark a suspect while pocketing a healthy profit spread out on the big exchanges. Now the government holds a large amount (my math says 15.7%) of all bitcoins, completely untainted coins with no connection to the theft. They can afford to let the stolen coins stew, untouched, while they use the 'earned' coins to buttress the failing world economy.
