As ive said elsewhere, if I was karma whoring, I'd have made the joke about something another more popular sub likes and posted it there. But I wasn't, I just like kerbal and thought I could make some funny double entendres in my attempt to show him how his question was broken. And then I thought people here might like it, and on the whole they did.

But then there are the sad little people who see anything getting up voted as karma whoring, forgetting how painfully obvious the projection is.

I don't karma whore because I don't care about karma. If I did I wouldn't have kept responding to people in a thread where asking what you were referring to just now got me 3 down votes.

And.... Are you listening to yourself? "If someone takes someone else's content and posts it here, then that's OK, but if someone posts their own content here, then obviously they're karma whoring"? Surely posting something someone else did for karma is the sign of a karma whore, not making content people like. That's literally what reddit is about.

And just like the comment you totally didn't copy because it's the highest comment in the thread (did you hope it would get up voted? Awkward) the comparison for putting myself up for the best of something doesn't really fly because I didn't remotely do that. The actual comparison is me thinking of a joke when with someone, and then later telling that joke to someone else. Which is completely normal behaviour. In case you didn't read the comment to the comment you copied, I'm going to karmawhore and repeat it.
