I like a lot of circlejerk subs but some are starting to get a little over run with reactionaries. Like r/moviescirclejerk has had an influx of people saying "DAE who cares about misogyny and racism on r/movies? Why do we have to talk about it?" and also saw someone unironically say "virtue signaling".Some other subs, like video game and sports subs have been upvoting r/the_donald memes. I wish this shit would stop.

Absolutely. It's not shocking though. The site as a whole has swung so far right that it was bound to happen. Even subs that have traditionally existed to mock the alt-right are now being overrun with Valuable Discussion and people defending these discussions. Because until the questions of whether women and non-whites are fully human can be answered to every roddit nazi's satisfaction, we owe it to ourselves to entertain every bigot's shitposting.

I haven't noticed it. Doesn't mean it isn't happen, but I haven't noticed it. Part of that may be the fact that I tend to subscribe to subs which are unwelcome to stuff like that (e.g., SRS, this sub) or subs which are entirely apolitical (e.g., cats, cooking). And for the few big subs I subscribe to (e.g., TIL) I tend to not open the comments if the post has blown up because I know that it's likely to be inundated with useless shit not worth reading.
