Manchester United believe that bringing Paul Pogba back to the Premier League as the planet’s most expensive footballer can deliver as much as £40m worth of commercial income in the first year. If those projections materialise, Pogba’s marketing dividend would cover more than a third of Juventus’ £110m asking price for the transfer.
