I've seen a number of men on r/India speak up about how they get stereotyped over the actions of a few, how they are treated with suspicion and as potential molestors. And they have a fair point, it must suck! I know that I've learnt to be more thoughtful from reading their perspectives. And yet, on threads like this one, nobody seems to have a problem with stereotyping all Indian women based on that one Indian friend or relative that has a stupid worldview. It just baffles me!
