In Dark Souls, players can leave messages throughout the world that other players can come across and read. However, what you can write is limited to predefined templates and lists of words/phrases chosen by the developers. One of those templates is as such:

[Phrase/word] [conjunction] [phrase/word]

Using this you can make the "[Try tongue], [but] [hole]" sentence, from which you can extrapolate "try putting your tongue on the butthole". Yum.

FINALLY, all throughout Dark Souls there are corpses leaning over balconies positioned just like Widowmaker is positioned here. Hence why the "Try tongue, but hole" meme works here.

Wow, I just spent 10 minutes explaining how to understand tongue punching the anus of digital characters. What a way to start an evening.
