Ibra is the best striker in the league and Rashford is a very capable backup/understudy.

I am not worried in the slightest about this position.

I think this is the majority opinion I've seen here as well. I don't think Zlatan is going to set the league alight and bag 30 goals, but I do expect our entire strikeforce (Martial, Mhik, Rooney, Mata) to come in with goals.

I think our best benefit this year is that a goal can come from nearly anywhere, as opposed to our one-dimensional "Martial beating 3 guys" like last season.

I actually think Zlatan can score 25+ in the PL this season. He scored 38 (!) last season in France, even you take into account a falling rate of a third, it's 26 goals.

His chances of getting 30+ at the PL are way better than some think IMO.

How many do you think the others will get if Zlatan is bagging 25 or so?

PSG are just so freakishly dominant in Ligue 1. Even if we have an incredible season we won't be close to dominating games like PSG do. He should be getting 20 league goals at least but it's quite a big jump to 30.

I agree. I don't think it'll be like 12-13 when RVP carried us, I think it'll be a more collective effort. Based on the way the front four was overlapping and the fullbacks were joining against Everton, I wouldn't expect anyone to have more than 15 goals, though I do expect a couple of players to get close to it.

Ibra is the best striker in the league

That's absolute lunacy. He's never even played in the league and Aguero is still alive...

I don't know if he's better than Aguero, especially without having played a league game (so we don't truly know). But if we based it off his previous performances, he would definitely be up there.

In real terms Aguero's injury prone nature counts against him in a 'best of' competition IMO. It's all well and good being the "best" technical striker in the league but if you're consistently injured for large portions of the season you aren't as valuable to the team.

That said, it's far too early to be calling Zlatan the best striker in the league when he's a 34 year old who has never even competed in the league. I'm confident he can be but time will tell.

He's not consistently injured for large portions of the season though. Last season he played 30 league games (1 fewer than Zlatan) and the season before 33 (9 more than Zlatan). Plus there's no way a 34 year old is going to be able to play every game this season either, especially over the Christmas period.

Martial as well. Honestly I think attack is our strongest position in terms of the quality of options

Yeah its a toss up between him and Aguero now, Kane will always be up there aswell after proving us wrong two years in a row and I don't expect Vardy to be on fire this season

I think Rashford is going to force his way back into the first XI this season one way or another.

Rashford is going to have opportunities to shine in the early rounds of all the cups, as well as any league games we rest Zlatan for. If he takes them I expect him to get more minutes a game as the season wears on.

I expect 70 minutes ibra 20 minute Rashford games too

When I see Rashford play, I feel the same for when I first saw Ronaldo and Rooney play.
