Pogba's Unfinished Business? (self.reddevils)

Alright lads,

I'm just after a bit of clarity. Every day at the moment I'm seeing a new Pogba post submitted, I don't mind, it's exciting to be part of a big transfer window.

But the one question I keep asking myself is what's in it for Pogba? All money aside, why does he want to return to the club that let him go for free? Does he have a point to prove? I'm not sure, he's already winning everything at Juventus, already been touted as the best midfielder of his generation. So why Manchester United? Why leave a club like Juve that win every year, where he's guaranteed first team football. Not that he wont with United. I just want to know what's in it for him.

United are a bigger club that Juve. United have the machine that can drive him to be a global superstar. Also the PL is much more of a challenge than the Italian league. Winning the league where there's no real challenge isn't always good for some players. Pretty sure he's guaranteed first team football at United too.

Winning Serie A with juventus doesnt get him closer to his goal of being recognised as the best midfielder of his generation.
He needs to win titles that actually matter so either win champions leagues with barca/madrid or winning BPL and United is certainly one of the most appealing project right now in that regard.

He'll give an interview shortly after signing and I'm pretty sure he'll get asked a question along these lines, then you'll have your answer.

Also, he wasn't exactly let go for free, nor was he let go. He chose to leave on his own accord.

Gets to prove his talent in the hardest league in the world and also with a club that's trying to return to being a domestic and European force under a manger that had his worst season with Chelsea last season. Honestly it's too perfect.

Because you won't be considered the best of your generation/ever when you have only done it in Serie A. You need to win in the Premier league or La Liga.
