Honest Questions From An Outsider (self.MGTOW)

Hey guys, I heard about MGTOW a week or two ago, and I kinda agree with the sentiments of not having a relationship in order to focus on other things, but there are other parts that I'm less sure I agree with.

I'm not trying to start any horrible arguments or flame wars or anything; I'm just legitimately interested and curious.

Questions:

  • Do you avoid women in general? Only avoid close relationships with them? Something else entirely?

  • Why the gender-specifics? I understand there are differences between genders, but ultimately everyone is an individual. Not ALL women want to steal your money, for example. In some instances, a woman can make more money.

  • Can a woman "go their own way" as well? What about homosexuals?

  • What is this red pill vs blue pill thing? Maybe just ELI5 if possible

Marriage, having kids and divorce taught me a lot about women. I also realized there is a price and risk for the "privilege" of spreading your DNA (assuming you give a rat's ass about your DNA). However, I am still a red-blooded male and enjoy fucking beautiful young women. So I continue to do so (e.g. one night stands, hookers) but I am very careful not to give them any (correct) personal information in case they decide they want more. I have learned that life is to be enjoyed. Personally, there's no point living like a pauper or celibate unless that's what you really want to do. In that case, more power to you. Otherwise, cheers!

OK, so you do avoid committed relationships with women, because of your previous experiences? Pretty understandable.

It's not entirely because of my personal "previous experiences" with women. Looking back through the clear lenses of a MGTOW, I can see that the warning signs about women were everywhere. However, due to youth and my DNA just not leaving me alone until I allowed it to propagate, I succumbed and had to learn the hard way.

If you are having any doubts about MGTOW philosophy, I can totally understand. My theory is that your DNA is fucking with your mind and body in ways you cannot even imagine. You might consider some alternative options of procreation, if you think it may be relevant to you and before it's too late, so you are spared actually committing to a woman who will, in all statistical likelihood... cost you dearly in many ways (time, energy, money, freedom). I wish you well, bro.

I'm not really a MGTOW just yet. I haven't fully came to terms with the whole ordeal, so I'm not probably the best person to answer these questions, but I can always try!

Not really. I just don't expect much out of a relationship with a women. I can still be close with them.

I can't really answer the other questions.

Can a woman "go their own way" as well?

Isn't that feminism?

I don't avoid anyone, I have no issue with women, I just don't want to be in a relationship because they are not important enough so throw my time and money at.

They might not want your money but they want something I don't want to give.

Probably on both counts.

I guess in simple terms is Blue Pill men think it's an even playing field when it comes to relationships (of any kind) with women, Red Pill is realising that it not only isn’t a level field but offers up an ideology on how to help improve the balance in your favour. MGTOW guys I fully understand the game but they simply do not care about even playing it.
