Having my mom, sister and brother-in-law for dinner tonight. First time I'm cooking for them. So many places to tidy up, so many surfaces to clean. So little will to do so. Go to the fishmonger's, go to the supermarket, go buy some bread. Manage to take the dog out for a while. Prepare the soup. Cut the veggies. Shave and take a shower or mom will have something to say ("what's that?" while pointing at my beard). I already hate this day.

Watching the game on Facebook the other night was a real fucking game changer. What's the chances of this happening again?

I don't subscribe to Sky or BT and usually I have to take out the laptop to find a stream, meaning there's going to be wires, not to mention the heat of the laptop.

The comfort of watching a HD, ad-free, lag-free game on my iPhone whilst my GF could watch TV was absolutely brilliant.

I really hope they come up with a deal to make this happen more and more.

I'd hate to burst your bubble, but if you think that was HD you'll be in for an amazing surprise if you ever end up paying for a proper subscription.

And I think it's unlikely to ever happen for an official match.

Things I'm disappointed about at the moment:

1) We haven't signed Pogba yet.

2) Suicide Squad is apparently shit.

3) After winning 40 games in a row with my new ultimate team I've started to lose because of the higher divisions and my passing accuracy is apparently now shit #scripting

4) Rooney's testimonial was a 0-0 which worries me greatly.

I'm worried about Sunday. Mou doesn't seem to enjoy Community Shield matches, and Leicester didn't look half-bad in the 2nd half against Barca.

We didn't look too convincing against Everton. We obviously have a bit of work to do before the season kicks off.

On a different note. Wild predictions for next season:

  • Chelsea will finish outside the top 4.
  • Sunderland to survive (barely).
  • Swansea, Hull and Burnley to be relegated.
  • West Ham will finish in the top 5.
