Conservative media outlet Breitbart just got caught in a massive lie after they stole a likely copyrighted picture from a major news network and passed it off as a picture of Donald Trump’s Jacksonville rally. All this to create the illusion that Trump hasn’t destroyed any chance of being president. What Breitbart actually ended up doing was letting the world know that Trump’s rally attendances are so bad that conservative media outlets have to lie about his numbers.

Check out the moment they were called out below, via Twitter screenshot:

As it turns out, the image Breitbart used for their story was taken from a CNN story about a gathering after the NBA championship in Cleveland, Ohio. About a month ago.

Breitbart caught wind of the Twitter bashing and immediately changed the image in the article to a picture that was actually taken at the Tennessee rally. Accountability can be hard, folks. Thankfully, conservatives don’t have too much of a problem with making fools of themselves.

Twitter user @BecketAdams set the record straight for anyone who didn’t catch the original article that Breitbart was hoping would disappear. Sadly, Breitbart, when you publish shoddy work in the age of social media and screenshots, you can count on one thing. It will be remembered.
