Silly season has returned for the 4th summer on /r/reddevils!

Most of you know the drill.

For those who don't...From today until the window closes, a transfer round-up & discussion thread will be made every day. In these threads, ANYTHING can be talked about. Any player, in or out, any transfer fee, anything!

Now, with these threads starting, this means that rumours submitted as separate posts will be removed unless they are from reliable sources!

Honestly, don't understand the reasoning behind selling Basti. I'm sure Mourinho has his reasons but he'll be an influential figure in the team. Good thing I'm not manager.

Injury prone, when he played he never looked anywhere near his old self and just borderline average IMO, on high wages for his role on the team. Selling him could also pave the way to have a younger midfielder from the academy (particularly TFM) take his role and play a few matches here and there. Would be more than fine with selling Bastian if that's the case.

I'm not worried about City at all, I watch the Bundesliga and I can assure you that Sané is just another Sterling and Gündogan is injury prone like Aguero and Kompany. Pep himself has to adapt to the PL and his players to his system. I'm more worried about Conte and Chelsea or Klopp and Liverpool tbh

Thought its worth mentioning that now Monaco is through to the CL play off round Fabinho wont be available until the 28th August according to reports making any transfer for him less likely.

Reports said Monaco will use him if they got through and they have so its pretty much the same situation as Martial, if we want to sign him Monaco will have to get knocked out and it will be a deadline day deal.

They will announce Pogba by Sunday. He has to report to Juventus Sunday for pre season and he won't because he isn't a Juventus player.

Pre-season. I admit he hasn't looked great. He barely played at the Euros too, so it's probably match fitness.

We've all seen what he can do, so I wouldn't worry yet.
