I've got a long known friend who works for United in the commercial department. Asked him about the Pogba deal I'll post his exact response.

KinetiClutch: 'Can you please confirm Pogba? It's been an absolute age now and no announcement'

Friend: 'Why, are you getting worried about the deal?'

KinetiClutch: 'Yes, people are saying that the website team have had their articles ready to issue to announce Pogba for weeks, yet nothing has happened yet!'

Friend: 'I wouldn't worry about it at all ;)'

Obviously it's not direct confirmation, however he's bound by NDA and it's his job. He's worked at the club for a while and being in the commercial team he stays well informed.

He's fairly serious and the wink at the end is pretty much the only confirmation I needed now. For what it's worth it was on the fence and now I can rest my F5 button.

Might not be useful but felt like those who want some reassurance can have it.

I get it, I'm annoyed too but we have no one to blame but ourselves for that. We are acting like impatient and spoiled brats (myself included). Pogba is on holiday and United is never going to confirm a transfer before his medical and he arrives at OT. It would be wrong for United to force him to abandon his holiday early, he's definitely earned all his time off. When's the last time a player was officially confirmed by the club without a tweet of the player holding up his new jersey with a goofy smile?

United knows the deal is done. Juve knows the deal is done. DiMarzio and several other journalists know the deal is done. Employees of both clubs know the deal is done. The only people that haven't been told the deal is done are the fans. So just try to have a relaxing weekend, enjoy the Community Shield. Let's smash Leicester!

Pogba will be announced next week once he is actually in England. Try not to drive yourself crazy everyone. Maybe check out some of the Olympics over the next two days to fend off that insanity setting in :)
