There's a huge difference between being racist and not being politically correct.

They were talking about this the other day on the Adam Carolla show. How "racist" is now thrown around at people just like any other insult, like "fat" used to be. It's a "boy who cried wolf" scenario.

Jerry Seinfeld said something similar recently about his 14 year old daughter:

"My wife says to my daughter, 'In the next couple of years, I think you'll want to be hanging around the city more on weekends, so you can see boys.' You know what my daughter says? 'That's sexist.' "

"They just want to use these words. 'That's racist.' 'That's sexist.' 'That's prejudiced.' They don't even know what they're talking about," Seinfeld said.

I don't have kids...but if I did I'd immediately say "...Oh, so I'm sexist?...well, since I'm already a bigot let me give your brother his $30 allowance and you'll be getting $25...after-all, if I'm going to be labeled anyhow, might as well save $5 in the process..."

That particular flavor of "sexism" is actually necessary for the continuation of the human race.

On second thought, I hope they do continue thinking that way. Liberals seemingly can't stand that natural selection exists.

This is exactly why I ignore anyone that calls me racist for supporting Trump. It carries no weight any more.

White Americans need to do a better job of listening when you talk about the seen and unseen racist comments they say every day.

I fucking hate this tweet so much. Who is "You" in this context?

Is it "White Americans need to do a better job of listening when African Americans talk about the seen and unseen barriers you (a reptile or a spider perhaps) face every day?"
It's so fucking stupid. You can't use "You" in this sentence because we don't know who the fuck "You" is. "You" clearly can't be "African Americans" because then "African Americans" would be "You" in the first instance. What infuriates me is this comment would be BOTH grammatically correct AND not (as) racist if it read like this:

"White Americans need to do a better job of listening when you talk about the seen and unseen barriers you face every day." IT JUST CAN'T BE "YOU". WE DON'T KNOW WHO IT IS. USE "THEY" OR A PROPER FUCKING NOUN, IT JUST CAN'T BE "YOU".

What's funny is that's an actual racist comment.

Sounds pretty racist to me, generalizing white Americans as bad listeners.

Oh I get it....so white American's are bad listeners because they've always been the boss...while other races are good listeners because they've always been the manual labor.

RACIST.

By that logic, Black Americans simply need to do a better job of not robbing convenience stores.

Or people could stop being pussies and live their lives without trying to control the bias and prejudice of other people. These are implicit human characteristics that have existed in every part of world for at least 50,000 years. Utopia will never exist. Make the best of what you have -- and as Americans, or citizens of any country that persists by the consent of the governed, a rational assessment concludes that even our least privileged citizens are more privileged than any people who lived at any other time in history.

So again, grow a pair, and enjoy your brief and beautiful life.

But what is racist? If I said "blacks have lower IQ's and higher crime rates than whites", which are both statically proven facts, would I be racist? What if I said "peoples of different races and ethnicities are different in the same way different breeds of dog are different" would that be racist? What about "because different peoples are different, they thrive under different systems. Therefore, it is best if different peoples were separate from each other". Where does the factual but not politically correct end and "racist" begin?

But what is racist? If I said "blacks have lower IQ's and higher crime rates than whites", which are both statically proven facts, would I be racist?

You're making a huge correlation/causation error.

Studies on IQs, ethnic populations and GDP have shown an enormous amount of variation in genetically similar populations which often occurs with variations in GDP. Prosperity and/or education is a much bigger factor for IQ than race.

"Lynn and Vanhanen rank among the most prominent academic advocates of a strongly genetic basis for IQ scores, and this indeed represents the summary conclusion that they draw from the vast amount of national IQ data they have collected and presented. They are unlikely to have skewed the data against their own ideological beliefs and theoretical hypothesis.

Yet an objective review of the Lynn/Vanhanen data almost completely discredits the Lynn/Vanhanen “Strong IQ Hypothesis.” If so many genetically-indistinguishable European populations—of roughly similar cultural and historical background and without severe nutritional difficulties—can display such huge variances in tested IQ across different decades and locations, we should be extremely cautious about assuming that other ethnic IQ differences are innate rather than environmental, especially since these may involve populations separated by far wider cultural or nutritional gaps."

The post goes on to list examples of huge variance such as the huge gap getween East and West Germans after WWII despite their "100% Bavarian phenotype", a slump in Polish IQs during the 1980's crash, a big difference between American Jews and Israeli Jews and between South African Dutch and European Dutch, a rapid increase in Irish and Greek IQs during times of prosperity etc.

The examples of immigrant populations increasing 20 points within a few generations shows the dramatic benefits of moving to a more prosperous if ethnically different country.

You don't need a war to be manly. That generation was manly before the war even happened. I attribute it mainly to a simpler world, where people werent glued to technology and men mostly did simple manual labour and married early. Most people who fought in WW2, except if they recite the propaganda lines (common in USA), actually say it was a huge waste of their youth that they'll never get back. Many many many came back scarred psychologically and physically from that war, and back then it wasn't even considered as much as today.

It's a good thing WWII happened during the time period that it did. If it happened now, we'd have surrendered already. #NotAllNazis

That's actually how it would have been though... They would have said, "Look these Germans are peaceful, so we shouldn't do anything about Nazis. It is just their culture." Then we would have all been speaking German.

As I'm typing this I just realized they were all white males so they would have been on board with killing them all.

It's weird how "we'd all be speaking German" is used as a worst-case scenario.

Given that a large number of American immigrants before WW2 spoke German and did fine.

I think it makes more sense to scare people with "anyone who didn't fit into a narrow mold in Nazi-controlled society would be disappeared into concentration camps".

That's much more scary. And credible, given history.

He was born in 1930 he grew up during the Great Depression in the US. His parents and his own experiences during that period would instill wildly different values that are lost on most people today. Saw the US go from it's lowest to it's highest after WW2. The older generations went through a lot, now kids today who go to world class universities like Yale who have never worked a day in their life complain about being oppressed.

Yes must have been hard working a blue collar job and somehow feeding 2 kids and wife at home, morgage, car and putting both of your kids trough college back in the day. Now we are all spoiled with all the easy job opportunities and really cheap college, and the rent? so fucking easy m8

there are lots of job opportunities in the correct fields. Half of our shitty generation goes to college to party and gets a degree in fingerpainting then complains they can't find jobs. People were more resourceful back then in finding work and putting forth effort without bitching and moaning about how hard they have it. THAT is the difference.

I've got student loans, parents didn't pay for my college. But I was raised right and taught to work hard and encouraged to research my field of work that I was going to be getting training in (college, bc that's what college is, job training). So I've got my engineering degree and am promptly paying off my loans with my pick of what job I wanted. Angry? Good, maybe you'll do something with your life.

You should be angry at your shitty dumbass parents for not raising you right and not our grandparents generation or other successful people in our generation. Grow the fuck up and do something with your life.

They are literally who we are now building this world for. If we can show them that we are still builders, go-getters and innovators, not lazy-ass clickbaity whiners and limp-dicked, ineffectual bloggers complaining about about first-world-everything and doing nothing. I'd rather my kids look to the stars and spend time on that, than spend time and endless distractionary debates on offensive language while suffering their first of many existential crises in some safe room where they realize they've done exactly dick with their lives.

It's the brilliance behind Trump's statements. Just like the one about Khan's wife. He says what everyone secretly thinks, and plays to their confirmation bias.

Just look at that statement- never once did he mention anything about Islam. Never once did he mention that Islam has an incredibly strong history of oppressing women. And yet, somehow everybody knew what was implied. So offensive. All you PC cucks were thinking it already, and now you are just projecting it onto Trump you racist, homophobic, xenophobic bigots.

Trump said no that is a lie. Is his wife willing to lie too? Or is the democratic party not even allowing her to speak. Khan is a political tool. Of course he will lie, the assumption being the good wife would not.

Feminists are now reaping what they have sown over the past forty years.

No-fault divorce and various mechanisms for supporting and subsidizing single mothers are to blame - you get more of what you subsidize, and less of what you tax, after all. Good men and women require paternal involvement to exist. Children raised without fathers grow up from boys and girls to criminals and whores, respectively. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are the children of single mothers. Donald Trump's father Fred was an overwhelmingly positive influence on Donald's life, from being there in early childhood up through that infamous small loan of a million dollars. The difference should be obvious.

This. Feminists have also used big daddy government to take fathers out of their children's lives. I hope that the divorce laws change in America, because it bothers me to see a woman divorce a man for no reason, make him pay out the ass in child support, then blow the cash on herself.

There was a video somewhere on YouTube where a Navy veteran had to pay $2,000 a month in alimony, and his ex made almost 6 figures a year, while he's unemployed. And if he misses a payment, he has to go to jail.

Thanks for nothing, feminists. Way to castrate society.

No of course, being a man is admirable, hard-working, supporting yourself and people who depend on you, doing what needs to be done, among other things, sure, I just don't think that being a feminine man is a bad thing.

I think being a whiny bitch of a man is pretty bullshit though.

[–]Monkey_Scrotum_Fever 8ポイント9ポイント  (8子コメント)

Seriously, it seems like every girl I date is a self-described "feminist" but it doesn't change the fact that they still like to have doors held for them, to have you order for them at a restaurant, and to have you have your way with them in bed.

I've also read some studies which indicate that testosterone in men is sharply declining, due in part to certain BPAs and stuff in plastics, that gets into our water and raises estrogen levels. I know it sounds like a little bit like a chemtrail conspiracy, but I think there is some truth to it.

Science isn't conspiracy. There isn't much if any in the water, but that part about plastic is entirely scientific and true.

Holy shit, from everything I have read, it seems that it's almost impossible to avoid. Everything comes in contact with plastics, and according to this article:

The testing showed that more than 70 percent of the products released chemicals that acted like estrogen. And that was before they exposed the stuff to real-world conditions: simulated sunlight, dishwashing and microwaving, Bittner says. "Then, you greatly increase the probability that you're going to get chemicals having estrogenic activity released," he says, adding that more than 95 percent of the products tested positive after undergoing this sort of stress.

Damn. Well, at least I will switch to drinking my water at work out of a steel thermos now. As for everything else, where does one ever start?

Just use less plastic. I personally avoid drinking water from plastic bottles, mostly because it tastes terrible. I guess you could offset it with a low or mild dose of testosterone pills, but that might be paranoid. Check with a doctor if you think you're low on Testosterone.

Recycling + Waste to Energy (Incineration) + Composting

In that order is the most efficient combination for dealing with waste and reducing the amount of plastics leaching in the environment. Land filling is the worst option.

https://sweden.se/nature/the-swedish-recycling-revolution/

The remaining ashes constitute 15 per cent of the weight before burning. From the ashes, metals are separated and recycled, and the rest, such as porcelain and tile, which do not burn, is sifted to extract gravel that is used in road construction.

Bisphenol-A

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisphenol_A

"Animal research[edit] The first evidence of the estrogenicity of bisphenol A came from experiments on rats conducted in the 1930s,[39][83] but it was not until 1997 that adverse effects of low-dose exposure on laboratory animals were first reported.[24] Bisphenol A is an endocrine disruptor that can mimic estrogen and has been shown to cause negative health effects in animal studies. Bisphenol A closely mimics the structure and function of the hormone estradiol by binding to and activating the same estrogen receptor as the natural hormone.[84][85][86][87][88] Early developmental stages appear to be the period of greatest sensitivity to its effects,[89] and some studies have linked prenatal exposure to later physical and neurological difficulties.[citation needed]"

Just got done with a ENV course, and we covered this as well.

Wow. This is much more than a conspiracy theory. So I guess my next question is, how do I even begin trying to avoid plastics?? Everything comes in contact with them; from my food, to beverages, to soaps and contact solution. Everything touches plastic.

To be honest, try not to stress it so much. I do use plastics of course (like everyone) to hold food, etc. I usually don't head up food in plastics, or put it on a paper plate, etc. Drink water from a glass that's actually made of glass, etc. etc.

Remember, these are experiments done on rats, etc. There isn't any (current) actual long term studies on humans, or what we are specifically sure on.

It's hard to say, but if you choose to use less plastics in your life, by all means, do so. I think my concern here is when you heat up plastics, or put them in a physical situation where chemicals may be released.

Letting water sit in a plastic glass overnight isn't going to hurt if you drink it the next morning.

Then again, I'm not a biologist, or researcher.

Not only just BPAs, but I read a disturbing article recently about estrogens in the water system. Women take birth control, they piss, it gets recycled back into the water system - but there is no filtration for taking out estrogens.... etc.

The continued pussification of the American male . It's multi-level attack, and it's been going on for a long time. What Carlin's talking about and what SJWs try to do is part of a cultural war.

On a chemical level, decades and decades of drinking only from plastic bottles, all that BPA leaks into the water and keeps the estrogen levels up.

Then you get massive increases in transgenderism and blame it on "people in the past being such barbarians and evil, that transpeople were murdered/persecuted/etc.", so there would have always been just as a large number of trans as today if not for them.

It's not the new numbers that are a result of anomalies, it's the old ones that were "obscured by terror and fear"

When Clint Eastwood dies, I'm going to have to take a week vacation from work. It'll be the saddest day ever.

[–]Pass_the_BottleUSA 20ポイント21ポイント  (0子コメント)

Oh, shit, don't remind me of the inevitable. It will be a very sad week for me as well. I really grew up on Clint Eastwood. I had a weak father figure that was never there for me so subconsciously I mimicked Eastwood from his movies. Yes, seriously, I was a misguided kid who was trying to be Dirty Harry and The Man with No Name all in my head.

Sad thing is, it actually kinda worked! I learned that a man has to stand up for what he believes and do the tough thing. I learned a man's word is his bond. I learned that from time to time, you might get your ass kicked, but you get up, dust yourself off, and have another go. Most importantly, I learned that women like tough manly men.

Clint Eastwood is a great man, and a great role-model.

It's going to hit as hard as when Mr. Roger's died.

I really don't understand how everything goes back to racism for these people. It's like their battle cry, yet they personally do nothing to ward off this "rampant" racism besides posting on social media.

Dude. You don't know yet?

It's their playbook. When a liberal loses an argument (which is basically every time, as their arguments are indefensible) they revert to basic name calling. It's literally like clockwork.

Next time you argue with a liberal, be VERY VERY careful and make 100% sure you don't mention race AT ALL in any form during your arguments and see what happens. Without fail, you'll still be a racist and literally Hitler.

This must have come from lib infighting. Putting the other in the position to have to defend that they aren't racist, rather than having to defend their own position.

They just trigger each other back and forth until they need the fire department to dig them out of the basement full to the ceiling with tendies.

I was born in 88, in a small town and raised in a different small town. I was raised mostly by my grandparents from 1 to 8 years old. In both their actions and their words, they taught me the golden rule. They taught me honesty. They taught me respect. Unfortunately, when I looked at the world around me, I didn't really see these things taking place.

Sure, everyone tried to tell me that the world of "diversity" and "inclusiveness" fit into these categories, but something just didn't make sense to me. I was being told that these people (what I now have a term for -- social justice warriors) had these very same values that my grandparents instilled in me. But I felt somehow like an outcast. Like I just fundamentally could not understand the world. Over the years I befriended other people who seemed to think like me, but they were hard to find. They usually were not very outspoken about their views, because usually they were just berated for not saying things the same way all the "other" people wanted them to say it.

This election, whether Trump even wins or not, has fundamentally changed my life. Trump, singlehandedly, has already given a voice back to a silenced group of US citizens who care deeply about the country but were never "cool enough" to express their opinion because they didn't want to say it in a way that catered to everybody else's feelings instead of their own feelings.

Sure enough, everybody I've made close friendships with over the years, who really understood me and talked with me in a way that everybody else couldn't, is also aboard the Trump train.

For me and many others, this election is about more than policy. It's more than "change". It's more than "greatness". It's about courage. Pride. Self expression. Self determination. Being yourself and not apologizing for it.

I don't even care if Trump wins. I don't even care if he wins and then fails. The Trump movement has given me my life back and has made me, in every sense of the word, fearless. The same type of fearless that my grandparents were, and that they raised me to be. With Trump's help I've finally become the fearless adult that my role models in life were trying to build, and nothing that happens from this point on could ever take that away.

God bless this great country and let's make her people great and fearless again.

Now all the liberals on Twitter and AVClub are wishing for him to die. So progressive.

Actor/ Director Clint Eastwood made a very interesting point about the Trump and Mexican Judge. Trump does SOMETIMES need a body (a group) to steer him to the right path because he just says what he feels and according to Clint 'its ok, I can understand where he is coming from' but eventually there is a line must be drawn. if Trump can do it successfully he could be a truly great one.

Sometimes you need to make extremely harsh turns in order to get back on the correct course. Like Clint said, Trump is refreshing. Too much pussy generation going on right now

"Only Rosie O'Donnell" was the line that Trump won my vote with. Ever since, my love for his anti-PC character has only continued to grow

Pussies? I love Clint and he just called out my children and grandchildren. For the most part they come from solid conservative homes/values. What did click in their upbringing is that they are very successful in their careers...hard working. The big HOWEVER. When it comes to progressive thinking, victimhood, crying unfair unfair and supporting politicians counter to their lifestyle (limo liberals) they are pussies.

[–]Xortex 4

Trump is such a good role model for (pussified) young people: take risks, get out there, fight for what you want and work like hell... and you will succeed. He's the opposite of Obama and Hillary's ilk: don't even try, cower in fear, we'll take care of you, just put in your time and shut up. I want a president that inspires people to fight for themselves and realize their dreams.

I had his voice in my head when I read this.

The problem is that only people like Clint who are old enough that they don't need to be concerned about their careers are able to speak out. Enlightened young folks need protection from the speech nazis. Either that or the economy has to crash so bad it no longer matters if you can work or not.

all goes back to when that dude lost the LA Clippers because he's was a "RACIST".

that was a very bad example to set.

"Secretly, everyone's getting tired of political correctness"

We are the #SilentMajority I wonder if Clint knows any more Hollywood peeps who feel the same way. I hate how Hollywood has become such a circlejerk of vile and dirty SJW and libcuck rhetoric. I mean, I totally understand where they are coming from. Let's be honest, a guy like Ben Affleck doesn't actually want Muslim refugees to come invade our country. He's just saying he does so the Hollywood elites (time warner, universal, viacom, news corp, disney etc - all run by globalists and all supporters of Democrats ) keep awarding him with big roles.

No you see we should all be self-hating, emasculated, feminists who treat every non white person with white gloves and step on eggshells around them like leftists so we don't get called racists. The fetish the media and the left ha for anybody who isn't white in our societies as a perpetual victim is very apparent. If only ISIS members and other would be terrorists could sit in front of some bespectacled feminist with red hair and listen to a lecture about the evils of white supremacy and the patriarchy surely they'd drop their weapons and march in solidarity with transexuals at the next Pride Parade.

He is dead on right , we have become this overly sensitive pussy country where anything and everything someone says hurts our feelings. We should be the country that stands up to a bully, instead we have become the country that gets bullied.
