I feel like we need to know a little more about your situation. Is this a one time payment and one time conversion? Are you selling something like a car and want to receive their payment in BTC even if they can only pay in cash? Are you a landlord who wants to get paid in BTC? Is someone slowly paying a loan back to you? Are you selling stuff on Etsy?

The frequency and amount of the payment as well as whether or not you're meeting them in person all matter in determining the most appropriate method.

If you're a contractor or landlord, you can sign up at Bitwage and generate invoices that will be paid in cash but delivered to you in BTC. If you're selling a car or TV, then Circle sounds good. If someone is paying off a loan in person, then you can meet at a LibertyX store. You tell the cashier the pin code for the deposit and your friend hands over the cash to the cashier. You will immediately receive it in BTC.

You can do the same thing with any face to face exchange, like local Bitcoins or Mycelium's Buy/Sell feature. Your friend pays the seller and the seller gives you the BTC. Or just accept the cash and take it to the seller yourself. If the debtor is far away, they can even do the Mycelium or LBC buy themselves and just show the seller your deposit QR code.

How much, how often and how they are delivering the money to you all matter.

if you have cash and you want to exchange that into bitcoin, then another option besides a bitcoin atm is to find someone who is willing to trade cash vs. bitcoin.

there are websites/services where you can look for other users to meet up and trade face-to-face:

there might be other sites/services i am not aware of.

Sounds like Circle app would do the job for you.

I have the app, just not used it yet. Am I able to have people pay me in USD and then convert it on my end?

Yeah. What I do it, send fiat to my Circle account and then send the same amount of fiat to BTC address. Circle converts that fiat to BTC (take a little cut themselves) and sends it to the given address.

Okay so basically have someone send me fiat via circle, then I send that fiat in BTC to my BTC address on say blockchain? Or do I keep everything in circle?Sorry, very new to this. Thank you for your answers

Yes send fiat over circle to you. Then you in the Circle app, paste your BTC wallet's address and select how much fiat to send. In 30-60mins, you should have BTC in your wallet. Never keep BTC in wallet that you do not control. Get an BTC wallet on your phone or a Trezor or something similar.

The person using circle can also just send it directly to your bitcoin address. You dont need that extra step

As well as all the other stuff in this thread, try googling "buy bitcoins <your country>"
