If you could take one player from a league rival to put into our starting XI and improve or squad who would it be? (self.reddevils)

For me I would take Toby Alderweireld. He is only 27 so we would have him during his peak years as a CB.

He looked good when he was at Southampton and looked like he even improved on that season last year with Spurs. With him and Smalling we would have a formidable partnership for years to come! 2nd choice would be Koscielny just because I still think CB should be an area we make one more signing.

Edit: I even "proof read" the title. Supposed to our not or sorry everybody!

A few months ago, it would've been Kane or Kante. Since Kante is gone and striker isn't the glaring need, I'd say Dele Alli.
