TL;DR: How does MGTOW lifestyle look like in the long run?

Hey all, I'm fortunate to have found this sub at the age of 16 (now 18) after my first real relationship went sour. I learned that you can move a mountain or part an entire ocean for a woman - yet if she doesn't find what she needs in you, she will look at you as garbage in the romantic scene. I've been reflecting for a long time and accepted the fact that if girls are not into me, fine. Why should I bother going after them like an animal? I've had enough of being bitter-thirsty and decided to adopt the MGTOW philosophy. Ever since, I've found so much solace in knowing that the chains of relationship and marriage cannot touch me. I can imagine myself living a fulfilling and meaningful life in the future because of my desire to excel in STEM academia.

The problem I'm facing arises with my age and surroundings. I have conservative parents who say "oh you're too young to be saying that" "you'll change your mind when a hot girl is into you" "what about the future, you're going to die alone."

I'm perfectly fine with the first two concerns. My problem is the last one. No matter how sharp our minds are. No matter how fit and healthy are bodies are. We will get old and in all honesty, that scares me the most. What if I get too old and cannot afford to live by myself? What if I need to live with my siblings family to have at least some social interactions? What if I cave into societal norms out of necessity?

Sometimes I wish I could rewind the clock and be your age again (but with MGTOW knowledge). You need to watch my video because it sounds like it may be relevant to you.

Dude: if you can't afford to live alone old you sure as fuck can't afford to support a wife too who spends all your money no matter what you say and also will happily look for side-dick and put you in a retirement home "for your own good"

The fear of dying alone is a total fallacy. Much more rational is to have a fear of living a life with a nagging bitch who then turns into an old, cranky, nagging bitch.

You can get married and still die alone. What if the wife goes first. That is what happened to my dad. Married 52 years. My mom died first so he will die alone.

Here is a new wrinkle unique to your time. The day of the walking talking robot is just around the corner. When you are old, you will have your own personal robot that take care of you in your old age. That robot will be your friend. The robot will look after you and hold great conversations. So it is very likely we will be okay in our old age.

Don't worry about any of that shit. If you commit to a woman, you are virtually guaranteed to be driven to near bankruptcy with all the things she will make you spend money on and face the constant threat of divorce which spells financial ruin for you too. Instead, remain single and save enough money for private nursing care. You can even check yourself into a resort-like facility in your old age where hot nurses will attend to your every need and you can die with a smile on your face.
