LPP is unique, environmental friendly and don't need Fuels, Sun, Wind or large amounts of Liquids to produce Electricity
About this project
LPP (Liquid Power Plant) will be the first high efficient plant, able to produce green environmental friendly energy at a small footprint without consuming fuels of any type or in need of renewable Energy sources like Sun and Wind. All the plant needs is a small amount of harmless liquids (preferable Water) to produce Electricity in any climate zone
The Team
Currently the Team consists of 2 Persons only, namely Kurt Lidlgruber responsible for the Campaign and Hermann Lidlgruber as Inventor of this new Power Plant type, which Kurt Lidlgruber call Liquid Power Plant (LPP).
Within 12 month after Company funding we expect a Team of around 80 and around 130 Staff after 24 month
Change of Company structure will be due most likely after 2 Years of expansion to a Management Structure as shown below
The Technology
This new type of Power Plant is using a unique technology to produce Electricity others then convential Hydro- Power Plants which need gravity from drop in elevation at a large River or falling Water stored in a Dam or falling down through Pipes above in the Mountains to create mechanical energy by turn of the Turbine or Waterwheel which turns the electricity Producing Generator. The Key Equipment of this new Power Plant type is a highly efficient energy saving pump as shown at below picture which is patent right protected since 2007. It was during the development of the pump that the Inventor discovered the potential of the pump to produce electricity out of a basin without need of large and expensive constructions.
Key Equipment
-
Since then it took more as a Decade to bring the Idea from theory to work and request for Patent right protection.
The Power Plant consists of a Water Wheel or Turbine (for larger electricity producing capacity), a Gear Motor, a Pump and a Generator. All these Machines are connected by chain or belt drive directly to the Water Wheel, whereby the Gear Motor have the task to start the Power Plant until the Pump have sufficient rotation to create pressure and pump water in to the Buckets of the Water Wheel which then makes the Water Wheel turning at a calculated and synchronized rotation sufficient to turn the Shaft of the Generator to produce Electricity. The Water or any other non-hazardous liquid is circulated and taken from a basin below the Water wheel or Turbine. Due the small footprint and unique process technology for producing emission free electricity this Power Plant type can gain and exceed rapidly in popularity electricity producing Power Plant Technologies depending on favorable Weather conditions for Sunshine or Wind or convential Power Plants which requires extraction, storage and burning of Liquid or Fossil Fuels or Hydro-Electric Power Plants needing large Rivers or Dams.
A stationary unit of 3.5KW up to 12.5KW net output capacity would have maximum dimensions of around 2 square meters as the #2 Prototype shown below with 12.5KW net output
Other parts of the Power Plant are a Water Basin, the Water Wheel, a Gear Motor, the chain drive system and a Generator to produce Electricity. For a new Prototype the chain drive system will be changed to a V-Belt system as the loss on efficiency is significantly less then by using chains. The comparison between the 1st Prototype of 2,5 meter diameter driven by V-Belt and the 2nd Prototype driven by Chain clearly points out that a V-Belt driven Unit is more efficient at higher revolutions, not to mention noise reduction.
The Prototypes existing
#1 Prototype - October 2015
With a Wheel Diameter of 2.5 meter, 20-35 revolutions per minute and a net electricity output of 22.5KW this Prototype is driven by V-Belts. Please don't forget by watching the Video at Youtube that it is a prototype with quality of assembly very basic.
Replay with sound#2 Prototype - April 2016
With a Wheel Diameter of 1.2 meter and 200 Revolutions per minute and a net electricity output of 12.5KW this Prototype was driven by Chain. Due less weight of the Water Wheel and smaller Bucket compartments and the performance losses of around 15-20% caused by the chain drives for stage 1 & 2 this #2 Prototype showed some weak points in performance. The weak points have been analysed and will be considered for building the 3rd Prototype.
Replay with sound#3 Prototype - July/September 2016
Will have a Wheel Diameter of 1.5 meter but driven by V-Belt instead of Chain Drive. Net Electricity output is expected 12.5 KW by a lower speed Generator at 750 rpm
The future Development
As you can see from above Pictures there is still a long way to go to have a product range at hand that is eye catching and for which each future Customer is proud to possess and present it like a peace of Art.Further development to a consumer friendly product will include improvements to cope with applicable safety regulations to protect and prevent harm of people and Equipments, a electronic control system for Internal Start-up and continuous operation and to enable easy operation. Most challenging will be the start of development phases for larger capacity Units with change from Water Wheel to Turbine technology. Those phases can proof much more time and cost consuming then the Water Wheel technology. To offer besides the stationary also a range of mobile Power Plants will be easy to realiseThrough the hollow shaft of the Waterwheel or Turbine optionally 2 more Pumps could be operated. However the power consumption needed for this option would reduce the Electricity production accordingly, but have the benefit that Liquids pumping or other Machinery can be operated simultaneously to the Electricity ProductionThe Product
Product line offered will be of stationary and mobile type with net electricity output of modules starting at 3.5KW to 30KW in the first and second phase of production.Basis for the first phase of the Product Line will be the existing Prototypes with a 1.2 meter Wheel diameter and 2.5meter Wheel Diameter which produce 12.5KW respectively 22.5KW of electrical net capacity as output. All together it is planned to develop in 8 phases a stationary and mobile product range between 3.5KW and 250MW.The electricity production range of the individual units is optimized to produce Power Plants at modular basis only, overlapping the smaller or larger capacity Units with having the advantage to avoid costly and time consuming tailor made design of the specific needs of a single customer.Net electricity production capacities for stationary Power Plants below 10MW will be produced most likely by a Waterwheel equipped with up to 4 Pumps and adequate pressure whilst Power Plants surpassing 10MW will be produced with a Turbine.Mobile Power Plants can be offered up to 10MW net electricity production. Transport of smaller Mobile Power Plant units can be by Pick-up whilst the larger capacity units can be transported by Truck or Trailer.Decision on proceeding the development of higher net electricity production capacity Power Plants within the next phase 3-4 will be made after having sufficient cash available from profits made out of the first 2 phases.Components used for production of the Power Plants shall be of high quality to reduce down times and maintenance and gain Customers satisfaction for the Product. How its made

The Market Analysis Summary
Market analysis was made by studying and evaluating data available from reports for all Countries of the Globe. The data collection included for example Population, GDP of the recent years, Annual electricity consumption by Head and Country, Electricity production capacity installed respectively forecasted until the Year 2030.The summary of the assessment for the Unit sales forecast was derived from preparation of a scenario based on a specific population factor applied and another scenario based on the forecasted future Electricity demand of the individual countries. The lower and more conservative value was used for further calculation on own participation.
Own participation was calculated on a 5% participation on the forecasted additional electricity capacity growth for public and private Energy providers, but not including opportunities arising from replacement of retired Electricity Producing Power Plants, demand of small home owners or small enterprises or Industries like Ship building, Sea freight transport or Heavy Industries which increases the sales potential of this new Power Plant types significantly.
The combined Non-Renewable and Renewable global electricity producing Power Plant capacity of all public and non-public Energy Providers was 5,699 GW in the Year 2014. Considering an annual average of 5% for additional energy demand representing approximately 285 GW of additional Electricity producing Power Plants needed, the estimated own annual participation share of 5% respectively around 14.25 GW out of the 285 GW is a conservative forecast. Taking into account growing public awareness and critics to produce clean energy without polluting the Environment, the forecast could soon be outdated and leading to additional demand not accounted in the Business PlanThe Implementation Strategy
To successfully introduce this new type of Power Plant to the Public it requires in first instance further development to a consumer friendly Product suiting the needs of different groups of Customers in various CountriesCoping with this task a multinational Team of Experts is needed to collect safety and other necessary standards and data to comply with the specific regulations of the individual Countries chosen for sale of the Power Plant Units.

General Figures related to our Environment:
Around 1.2 billion Vehicles are globally in service.
Around 50,000 Merchant Ships including 5,000 Container ships sail around the globe. Thereof the 25 largest Container Ships of this Fleet discharge the same amount of Carbon Dioxide as all 1.2 billion Vehicles globally in Service
Having compiled and compared only a few datas which contribute negatively to our and Planet Earth health it is inevitable that improvements are to be achieved.
With LPP as clean electricity producing source we can contribute to nearly all sectors of our daily life on large scale to improve the environment.
Risks and challenges
Biggest challenges: Will we make our Goal ?
Other serious challenges:
a) Find in a proper and fair manner a solution to express to the public and potential Funders/Investors, that the existing Renewable Energy technologies are in our opinion still good and to the benefits of people and environment, but to accept as time changes and progress never sleep, also to share in future the market with a new technology upcoming having less weak-points and higher performance at a significant lower price to Invest.
b) to convince Funders/Investors to turn away from conventional Technologies using Fossil and Liquid Fuels and to invest their monies in new and more to the future oriented Technologies.
c) Being afraid to invest in the new and unknown as this new Power Plant type is not a proven technology. Thats correct to a certain point in respect of the arrangements of the different components, but the majority of people have a basic technical knowledge, knowing that the components (Pump, Water Wheel, Turbines, Gear Motor, Generator and Drive Components like V-Belts or Chains) used in the process are already since many decades considered as proven and reliable technology. The only difference is, that this components, if arranged in a special order and equipped with a very high efficient and energy saving pump, can produce electricity in a process not known until a short time ago.
Luckily, I have a good feeling what is possible and a proven technical, organisational and commercial track record within some of the largest Companies of the Building Materials and Turnkey Construction Industry, used to work under permanent stress and pressure, never giving up until the job is done, most of the time with support of an excellent Team. If I would not be convinced that this new Technology have a bright future I would not start at all to spend all my energy to bring this Project to life.
The feedback from Companies in a few Countries is very promising but unfortunately none of them like to invest money in a Product not ready for the market, especially if the Inventor with an age of 83 Years is in the opinion of many people already clinically dead and I, the second person not too far away to this step.
Technical Challenges:
Biggest technical challenge for each unit to be further developed is to synchronise all elements of the Power Plant to a proper functioning Unit delivering electricity at a wider band-width as it is yet. Therefore the 3rd Prototype will be equipped with a low speed Generator of 750 rpm instead of 1500 rpm
Design the Control Systems simple but to adjust parameters easy with possible option to control LPP over WIFI / Internet
Although two Prototypes up to 22KW net electricity production are existing, it is and still will be a big challenge to convince people that the Invention is working. Most people associate the invention immediately with a Perpetuum Mobile which is not the case as the Power Plant key equipments need a initial start up electricity from a Generator, Battery or local Grid, switching later on to the internal electricity supply from the Generator with only the remaining electricity available for the consumer. At the end of the Development Phase the Weak point for needing external start-up energy will be history as either internal rechargeable transistors or Battery capacity will be in place.
Commercial Challenges:
The project could also start with less funding but that would cause a risk in having a finished product but not sufficient funding to start production to penetrate the test markets in the expected scale. At full production sales target in the first year of Phase 1 & 2 is around 140-160 Units ensuring revenues in the range of € 10-12 Million. The second year for Phase 1 & 2 and start of selling Power Plants of Phase 3 & 4 should boost revenue in the € 40-50 million range.
We already started to get feedback from Companies in the U.A.E., Sweden, Germany and Vietnam who are interested to sell the Power Plants within their Countries. In Sweden, Germany and Vietnam a combined monthly production of around 140-150 Power Plants could be sold if we trust the expectations of our future Customers. We expect that the sales price ex-works w/o taxes and shipping will be very competitive, compared to the real efficiency of other alternative energy producing plants, and in the range of € 15,750 for a 3,5 KW Unit up to € 112,500 for a 30 KW stationary Unit out of Phase 1 with already € 2.7 million reserved for material orders from suppliers involved.
We estimate that this new type of Power Plant after further development in phase 6 & 7 of the existing prototypes can reach capacities of around 50MW and more by Unit. Proof can be only provided after the earlier phases of development were successful. The raise out of this Crowdfunding Campaign is to continue further development of the Prototypes in the first 2 Phases (Mobile and Stationary Units) up to 30KW net electricity production and to establish a Company for production including global sales and distribution channels.
