I have an odd thought though.. What if Trump's candidacy is actually a set-up by the RNC? If he drops out, the RNC has to reconvene and nominate someone to take his place. If that happens, they'd nominate someone without the votes of the public (correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see anything about it in their rules). The RNC could nominate anyone they wanted. It's far-fetched, I know, but maybe not too far-fetched? Get a crazy man to say a bunch of crazy stuff, then have him drop out because his poll numbers are destined to drop. Trump's a well-known quitter.. Thoughts?
