                                                                        Someone from inside the US government gave wikileaks these emails. I cant remember which one it was, but there was an interview with Assange where he talks about how it might be interesting to know the source of the emails and that some people will have "egg on their faces." Quite possible he was referring to the nature of the information, but he could have been referring to the focus on this being a Russian hack and how foolish they will end up looking when the truth comes out. I dunno.
