It used to be for women, getting pregnant with the wrong guy was a death sentence unless they were enough of a worthwhile person another stable man or community would take them. Now thanks to the wonder of welfare, we have a wealth of single mothers with kids fathered by idiots, and being supported by he public. And now, women lives are detached from the consequences of their bad decisions and their total and utter lack of value to a man or community, while the quality of their lives, future generations and society at large is diminished.
