When was the last time that you have admired nature’s great work? In today’s big city live, we are surrounded by concrete jungles and blindly following superficial works of men. We have forgotten to see the real beauty created for us by nature. Amidst the daily grind of city life, Treether wallet crafted from natural wood will nestle in your hand like a link to nature.
．About Wood & Nature
“Pound for pound, it’s stronger than steel.” Virtues of wood as a material is legendary. Pound for pound, it’s stronger than steel. If properly cared for, it will last indefinitely. It’s also a unique and complex material. Wood is stronger along the grain than across it. It expands and contracts more in one direction than another. Its color, weight, and grain pattern vary not only from species to species but from board to board. We chose to use trees to represent nature because of its deep connection with human history, also it is the material that can demonstrate the nature’s strength and vitality.
．About Our Leather
Wood itself is not enough to make a functional wallet, so we chose the finest vegetable tanned leather from Italy. Vegetable tanning is the oldest technique used during the make of fine leather. Not only it eliminates the environmental damage that chrome tanning has, but also enhances the durability and layers of texture.

Vegetable tanned leather completely covers and protects every edge of the wallet, so the wood fiber on the edge does not break or fall apart. The Structure of the wallet is sewn together by top quality high stretching thread that can endure years of repetitive use.

Parsec Design Studio was established in 2014. We believe that natural materials hold great integrity and depth as they are born and refined of the earth. Last year, the inaugural range of Treether products achieved an astounding 1870% of support in Taiwan's crowd-funding arena. This enabled us to deliver one thousand Treether wallets to our loyal supporters. Since then, we have been actively taking on feedback and plan to do more research and development for our existing and future products. To enable even more people to enjoy our crafted natural wallets, a new range of Treether items are currently in the making.
Risks and challenges
I know that timely fulfillment of rewards is extremely important to backers. I have already identified time and resources needed to complete this project if it exceeds my $8,000 goal . Relationships have already been cultivated with manufacturers who I worked with in my first campaign. Fulfillment requires a team of people. The PARSEC team is organized and are just as committed to rewarding your pledges as I am.
I really hope to get your rewards to you before the time I stated, but I am allowing some wiggle room just in case I run into problems.

For orders under US $1,400, it will be shipped between mid and end of November, 2016. To ensure top quality of each shipment, every single product is hand waxed, conditioned, and manually packaged by us prior to shipping. We will notify you through e-mail once your product is shipped. Those are not cracks and dent marks. All Treether products are made by natural materials, because of the diversed growing environment of trees and animals, the pores and lines are life’s natural characteristics. It is the beauty of nature, don't worry about it!

Treether is not waterproof. It absorbs moisture and can easily catch stains as soon as it comes into contact with liquids. We wax the wood and apply leather conditioner before shipping, so it has some levels of water resistance. However, if your Treether gets wet, wipe it clean immediately and air-dry it.

The corner or folder places of treether are easily losing moisture and cause crack and peel. When your wallet crack, losing brightness and moisture, please apply beeswax on it.
Please follow the steps to use it:
Find a clean knitted fabric (avoid using tissue paper) and put some beeswax on it.
Make sure you apply beeswax on every corners of the wallet. Wait for 10-20 min to be absorbed and wipe the extra beeswax off. -
Once we received your order from Kickstarter, we will send you a confirmation via e-mail. You will be able to choose your favorite Treether there.

The color of inner Treether is the original leather color. Vegetable-tanned leather are true chromium-free and does not have toxic chemicals and it shows the beauty of original leather color.
However, if you want the color to be darker, you can expose your wallet under the sun. The leather will be more caramel look.
