Meh. My mother would say similar stuff to this and she's a hardcore traditionalist.

I look almost exactly like my father did when he was my age and I've had more than a few occasions where an older guy would recognize me as my father's son even though they've never met me before.

It once happened in another country with a guy who hadn't seen my father in thirty years.

actually, i'm not happy that he was there. i say this with complete confidence that i would rather have grown up in a single mother household, than have my father in my life as a child.

I wonder how often this is true of children of single mothers, if dad's gone he'd probably have been a child abuser or something anyway, as in 90% probability. Feminism is dumb and has abuses like all political ideologies, yes, but you can easily take this "men's rights" shit way too far.
