Trying Desperately to Start a Business (self.MGTOW)

I'm 18, living with parents, and really just want to pursue a career. I am in school taking Pre medicine classes, but I really don't feel as if this is a good investment. (Over a $100,000 spent on a career that can land you around $300k a year, over an 8 year timeline, not including Residency)

I'm looking for mentors, looking online and even trying to get my foot into the stock market, but I don't know shit.

I had a business idea but can't do much about it at the moment because I don't know how to open a store. (Plus parents wouldn't be too happy about it) I know I should put myself before my parents.

This may seem irrelevant to the Subreddit, but a lot of MGTOW men do advocate to pursuing a career through the business route, and end up very successful.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Most people that start their own business and are successful, were already in the business. Or had an education relevant to what they were interested in. Very few successful businesses were started blind.

Think differently about your med school career. You may think that once you have your PhD that you must work as a doctor, but you can specialize and then work in researching medical treatments and devices. Not to mention people will pay for anyone in a white coat to hawk their products.

Yeah, I could. It's just getting into med school that bothers me, the uncertainty can really stress you out.
