I paid for an item in openbazaar using direct payment. For payment I used my mobile wallet application, by simple scanning the QR code. By mistake I send the payment twice. After scanning the QR code, I confirmed the sending of BTC from my mobile wallet application. Because I did not received an confirmation, I pressed the button again. The result was that I send the payment twice with two different transactions, from two different bitcoin addresses (since the application automatically generates a new address per transaction). Since both transactions performed almost instantly both of them were included in the same block.

As far as I understand (correct me if I make a mistake), the funds are being transferred by me to an openbazaar temp address, and when the vendor confirms shipping, funds are being transferred to his/her bitcoin address.

When vendor confirmed the order as shipped he received only the amount of the first transaction. The amount of the second transaction is still in the temp address . Any thoughts how can I recover the second transaction BTC back ?
