I'm probably gonna get downvoted here, but seriously, just after reading a few comments on posts on the front page today, common and debunked gems of Imperial propaganda constantly pop out. Stuff like:
"The release of Hammerfell was the only option, and Titus Mede did it to end the war (this one's particularly bad)",
"The Blades were Irresponsible, but not nearly as bad as the Aldmeri"
" The Battle of the Red Ring was the beginning of the end of the War"
"The Great War was the war between good (Imperials) and evil (Aldmeri)" (I wonder where the Blades fit in this moral scale)
These sort of historical hallucinations are no longer taken seriously even in Imperial academia (and regarded as what they actually are: post-war revisionism), but continue to be spouted by some Imperials in Cyrodil and are really just as bad as most excuses the Elves use. Seriously, do people still believe this mythology in 4E 202? And if you do, sorry for ruining your circlejerk.
