I'm probably gonna get downvoted here, but seriously, just after reading a few comments on posts on the front page today, common and debunked gems of Imperial propaganda constantly pop out. Stuff like:
"Banning Talos worship was the only option and Titius Mede did it to save lives" (this one's particularly bad),
"Tullius was bad, but not nearly as bad as Ulfric Stormcloak",
"Red Ring was the beginning of the end for the Thalmor",
"The Great War was the war between good (Empire) and evil (High Elves)" (I wonder where does Morrowind fit on this moral scale).
These sort of historical hallucinations are no longer taken seriously even in Imperial academia (and regarded as what they actually are: post-war propaganda), but continue to be spouted by some conservatives in Cyrodill and are really just as bad as most excuses Stormboos use. Seriously, do people still believe this mythology in 4E 201? And if you do, sorry for ruining your circlejerk.
My ancestors are smiling at me, Imperials. Can you say the same?
