Yesterday, I feel, I failed as an ally. I had a bad day, and got snarky when replying to a comment on reddit which earned me a bunch of downvotes and name calling. Granted it could be argued I started with the name calling, and the snark certainly didn't help. And it was about feminism on /r/tinder so I probably would have gotten that kind of response anyway.

Still, I feel sort of angry at myself that I let reddit get to me, that I lost my cool. A sort of decorum should be expected, at least from me as an ally. I can't expect people who suffer through bullshit 24/7 in their daily lives, and are personally affected by this shitty environment to keep their cool and remain nonconfrontational, so I think that's what allies should be for.

So I'd like to appologise for not meeting my own standards.

That being said, is there a resource from which you can easily copy well written, well formated, well sourced reddit comments on basic and not so basic socjus topics? That would make educating people a lot easier and streamlined (and yes, I think it sometimes is my job, as an ally, to educate people).

Ps: I'm not upset about stupid internet points or fishing for gold star ally points here.
