I don't know, I kind of remember Merlini looking a little uncomfortable when they joked about it a long time ago. I think it's just stuck around so long that he probably doesn't really care anymore. Everybody's different. I'm sure some like it and some don't. I'm asian and while I'm not gonna go complain about it, I just kind of roll my eyes at it.

Just a lot of things posted here sort of go along with the "lol chinese are just emotionless robots who practice dota all day" and the "lol they look the same" meme sort of adds to that.

If it's something funny like singsing/Ferrari 430 jokes, then I don't mind because it's actually clever and they do look similar. But when it's like oh look blitz and winter on the same couch "DAE all asians look da same?!?! ahahaha" it's just dumb.

tldr: i'm more offended by how unfunny it is rather than it being potentially racist.

Depends how it's presented too. Blurting out "all asians look the same" is pretty unoriginal and unfunny. But saying "Oh hey there's 10 Yao Mings in this room" might have a stronger effect

Naw you can just tell white people apart because youre white. White people look so similar (but im white so I kind of contradict that shit) my own father almost stopped to pick up a kid because he thought it was me. And I knew that kid too, because he went to the same highschool I did. AND HE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE ME. Fuck his exgf tried to date me because of the similarities.
