Muppetly dissecting Adidas' "Blah" Commercials and why its brutally obvious Pogba is coming. (self.reddevils)

So I have the weekend off, and naturally I have decided to spend it looking way too much into things re: Pogba to United. One thing we've all been introduced to is adidas' "blah blah blah" campaign, and the way they have released them makes it painfully/gloriously obvious that they know Pogba coming to United is a done deal and they will definitely be part of the reveal.

First, we look at the mini 20 second one with only Pogba. The only logo you see in that one? Man United. https://twitter.com/adidasfootball/status/758693846695813120

Second, adidas is making every one of their "big clubs" an individual "blah blah blah" campaign video. Here is Juventus' one. https://twitter.com/adidasfootball/status/758952191033880580. Why is this a big deal? Paul Pogba, the biggest adidas player on Juve is no where to be found.

Third, the extended version of the ad (https://twitter.com/adidasfootball/status/759296194984022016) features many different players from Muller to Bale to Pjanic. They are all wearing their respective clubs kit. The only player in the ad who is not? Paul Pogba.

Adidas is going to release an epic Paul Pogba ad where he appears in a United shirt and its going to be one of our favorite ads ever.

No need to look to much into it tbh.

They know the saga is just free publicity for them. Millions of people are searching "pogba" on twitter and having him on an ad is easy reach. On top of that, they make the ad about the transfer which adds more shit to the stirpot making the whole world go crazy.

Also, not just Pogba himself but both clubs are sponsored by adidas which makes the feat even easier for them. In the end, Pogba is just on a holiday and the deal is too expensive to go over in a few days.

I can't confirm as I don't speak Italian but according to some muppets on /r/Juve , they said that in the Juventus "blah blah blah" commercial, the match commentator on the bar TV says something like "is Pogba really worth all that money?"

The reason I got pulled into this hype train was adidas. Basically I had to ask myself 'would adidas really piss off Man Utd fans?' But I kinda regret it now, as this is dragging on and the pessimist in me keeps reminding me of Thiago, Vidal, Ramos etc sagas.

BTW, do /r/Juve actually think they are just as big as us? Key word being BIG.

This is far more concrete than all those other sagas. Just wait. It's the biggest transfer in football history. Bale to Madrid took 3 months.

It's clear that he's coming as the Man Utd logo, Jose Mourinho and Old Trafford appear in the video which are trademarks of Utd, so we gave Adidas permission to run that, maybe even worked with them and Pogba. It's an incredible way to make money

Some Juve fans wont admit that Pogba is off to United even if hes seen holding up a Pogba 6 United shirt standing next to Mourinho. "Is @ManUtd really that reliable though?"
