Rooney has argurably been the worst player on the pitch, I've defended him for the past 2 years and it does pain me to say it, but he just isn't sharp, I think you can put a lot of this down to not being fit, Ibra and Bailly have looked great though.

I agree, He hasn't lost only pace, it's his reaction time, his instinctive passing, his vision, his dribbling in tight spaced and his interceptions, everything has affected. I am not saying this only from this irrelevant half, but also the latter stages of the season(and euros)

I think in the eyes of most people Rooney played very well for England and was one of the best on the pitch for the first few games, but tonight hes playing like he did against Iceland, funnily enough both are the only games hes been under real pressure, however tonight he at least has the fitness excuse.
