First of, I have friends or maybe they consider me less than that. It really doesn't matter to me. We set a day to go to the movies but they all bailed at the last minute because it was terribly planned.No biggie. I went alone and I still enjoyed it. I have always done things alone;movies, concert etc. And now realize that people fear and need other people to have fun with them.

I feel this is important note to MGTOWs. Do not be afraid to enjoy things alone, if you rely on others you will be dissapointed. just my two cents, take it or leave it.

Like you probably, I often have child with me, but I know the peaceful feeling you're both talking about. You can usually get one of those perfect seats too, b/c couples and groups always leave those gap seats between them or on the end:D

My kids are in grade school, so yes people tend to give us a wide berth if they can.

I've gone to the movies alone a few times. Lately though I've gone with my Dad (he's retired, almost 70). It's good to occasionally spend time with family, or at least the family members you care about.

First time I did that I thought it was weird but I really wanted to see the film and only had a midweek day free, but I learned that going alone on midweek morning during term time is the best time to see a movie at the cinema

I sometimes go out to dinner alone too. Actually it's more often than just sometimes. Even decent restaurants have a bar area where you can order from the menu. The first few times it was a little uncomfortable, but now it doesn't bother me at all. You can get a good meal and since you're not paying for two, it's really not all that expensive.

I've seen so many more movies that interested me by going alone and not inviting people. It's actually something I enjoy a heap and people in the theatre leave a single guy alone (as in space).

Once I got over going alone, I realised how much my flaky and uncompromising friends and family could be. The only negative is Pixar films, which I still enjoy. Unfortunately feminism has made sure a single white cis male can't sit in one of these movies without the judgement of being a pedophile.

I always go to movies alone, although I don't go to movies very much anymore given the decrepit state of hollywood movies. Most movies are utter shit. All propaganda, brainwashing, neuro linguistic programming monstrosities. A good book by a good writer is always 10 times better than most modern movies in theatres.
