Pogba: overrated? (self.reddevils)

Hear me out.

I saw him play at the euros and to be honest, he wasn't even the best player in the team let alone be the best in the euros. I never saw him take the game by the scruff of the neck and dominate, but I did see a few glimpses of quality. In the champions league in the past few years I have seen him play and it's been a similar situation, granted he seems to have more freedom in Juventus to attack.

Is that all it takes for a player to be now worth +£80million? I don't feel that he would make a massive difference to united, and for that kind of money it's ridiculous. We have Schweinsteiger, Herrera, schniederlin, carrick, Fosu (potentially?) in the central midfield role already.

Am I the only one that feels like Pogba is overrated, and an unnecessary buy?

he'a much better than any midfield in our club

he's great potential

he's marketable = more noodles

Your kidding mate? Surely...the hype about this kid is real. A cm with his attributes at his age has the world ahead of him. In the top 5 midfielders in the world at the moment and probably the number 1 box to box in the world!

I don't give a fuck abt money, club isn't asking me to cover part of the fee lol. I just want us to sign world-class players and this is defo the case.
