I'm probably gonna get downvoted here, but seriously, just after reading a few comments on posts on the front page today, common and debunked gems of ATL rap propaganda constantly pop out. Stuff like:
"Ringtones and retarded dances were the only option and recording companies did it to maintain the economicality of rap music." (this one's particularly bad),
"Soulja Boy was bad, but not nearly as bad as Young Thug is now",
"Dem Franchize Boyz were complex unforgettable inquisitive works of art that truly probed depths of the human condition.",
"The 200's was the war between da souf (ATL) and da souf (H-Town)" (I wonder where does New York fit on this moral scale).
These sort of aesthetic hallucinations are no longer taken seriously even in African-American academia (and regarded as what they actually are: Racist propaganda made up by an evil conspiracy of Jewish record executives and Jewish PIC robber barons), but continue to be spouted by whoppertanktarded uncle toms from ATL who are just too stupid to understand my esoteric l33t hatefacts are the truth and are really just as bad as most excuses white supremacists use. Seriously, do people still believe this mythology in 2016? Everyone with half a brain knows that anything that counters The Narrative, no matter how convoluted, illogical, or inapplicable it is, is actually the truth. And if you do, sorry for ruining your circlejerk. Music died when FEMA shot Tupac in a 70 ton M1 and covered it up with photoshop, death threats, and Murifats like U.
