Today was weird day. I woke up like any other day,
entered my kitchen to fix breakfast, and browsed the
news. It was then that my 8 y/o daughter asked me,
"Daddy, who are you voting for? I like her best". Until
I heard that, I had been a fervent DJT supporter. But
even I knew exactly what I needed to do for her. To
show that I didn't stand by and not try.
Only for her. My dad was never there for me, but I
needed my child to know I was there for her.
Throughout the campaign, I hoped DJT would start handling himself with the proper decorum and
etiquette of the office. But that never happened.
Following Hillary's speech last night, I started to
look at her differently. She got me to put down the
original biases I had, and see what I was not seeing.
Only now am I truly seeing clearly. To know I can
really start to make a difference is awesome!
